Netrio, an SMB-focused MSP that provides a broad range of services to its small- to mid-market enterprise clients, combined its three businesses under the Netrio banner in a rebranding that aims to better serve its MSPs and their end-user customers.

Netrio, SUCCESS, and PCA came together as one company late in 2024 after SUCCESS acquired what was then NETRIO in October and then acquired PCA in November, Mark Clayman, the CEO of Netrio, told ChannelE2E after the company announced the rebranding.

The rebranding and marriage of the three companies is seen as “an opportunity to bring together multiple MSPs to create a single, larger, nationally focused MSP with a broad range of services and offerings designed to meet the needs of small- and mid-sized enterprises,” said Clayman. The move was completed with the help of private equity investment firm L Squared Capital Partners, he added.

“We wanted to bring together the three organizations under a single brand to have a unified external identity to customers and partners across the U.S. and provide our employees with a unified platform to help with internal collaboration, clarity and a sense of belonging to a larger and growing organization,” the CEO told ChannelE2E.

The Netrio brand name was chosen to represent the combined company, he said, after employees from all three companies were surveyed and shared their opinions about which name should take the combined company into the future.

“The results showed that most employees favored using one brand – Netrio – while incorporating brand elements such as color and typography from all three organizations into the new Netrio logo,” said Clayman. “This way, a new brand was created that worked in some aspects of each of the old brands of all three firms.”

Clayman explained that the rebranded and merged companies under the new Netrio banner will help customers by allowing them to use the capabilities and offerings of all three companies to customize IT product and service offerings that best meet their needs. This will facilitate long-term relationships with customers across the organization.

Netrio focuses exclusively on the IT demands of small- to mid-market enterprises, including managed IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, connectivity and voice, and custom application development.

A Wise Rebranding Strategy: Analyst

Michael Diamond, principal analyst with Denali Insights, LLC, told ChannelE2E that the rebranding and organizational changes for Netrio make a lot of sense for the combined companies.

“It is an excellent move and not surprising,” said Diamond. “We have seen a lot of merger and acquisition activity in the MSP market over the last few years in areas such as automation, cloud services, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. These areas are the juicy parts of the orchard from a demand perspective right now. Organizations are looking for partners that can help with their digital transformation strategies.”

For MSPs, these kinds of moves are critical, added Diamond.

“I often guide partners to be more strategically intentional, rather than just allowing gravity to pull them into another direction,” he said. “With Netrio, their moves have been intentional, and unifying everything under one brand is an excellent move. It echoes the marketing and branding prowess of the global system integrators (GSIs) that should pay dividends for them in the future.”
